HR Coordinator

Job Overview:
The Aurum Group is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented HR coordinator to join
our team and support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and
motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will be focused mainly on
recruiting and assisting in various HR functions and contributing to the overall success of the
organization.
Job Type: Permanent, on-site
Location: North-York
Hours of Operation: 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Salary: Up to $55,000 per year + Benefits
Job Duties:
? Screen applicants and conduct preliminary focused telephone interviews.
? Coordinate interviews with short-listed candidates and hiring managers.
? Conduct reference, and other background checks on selected candidates
? Maintain clear and frequent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment
process.
? Prepare offer letters and employment agreements.
? Stay current on the company's organizational structure, company policies, and federal and
provincial laws regarding employment practices.
? Address employee concerns on pay and other workforce issues.
? Prepare other HR correspondence in coordination with Aurum management.
? Other HR roles and duties as required.
Qualifications
? Post-secondary education (Human Resources, Labour Relations preferred)
? Human Resources (CHRP) designation preferred.
? 2-3 years of prior experience in an HR/Staffing role preferably in a large workplace (100+
employees)
? Highly motivated and able to work independently.
? Ability to prioritize and multitask.
? Analytical and Innovative
? Creative problem-solving skills
? Highly organized
? Strong communicator
