Reporting to the EVP, the High Density Residential (HDR) Account Agent creates long-term, trusting relationships with our customers with the goal to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. This position will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. The key area of focus for this role will be to grow Aurum's business within the commercial industry.

Aurum is offering a competitive base salary, which can be increased after 2 months of positive sales + commissions which are earned on gross profit of sales (uncapped). Automatic enrollment in our benefits plan will occur following the 3-month probationary period.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Proactively engage with customers, ensuring an ongoing positive customer experience
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and site visits
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales plans with operations and scheduling departments to ensure customer success
  • Ensure all data, information and details are entered into CRM (Salesforce) and update as required
  • Maintain acute awareness of market and industry trends and make suggestions for improvement
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of making a positive difference in an organization
  • Degree or diploma considered an asset
  • 3+ years account management experience in the service or operations industry
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders
  • Experience with Salesforce considered an asset
  • Proven ability to effectively negotiate and close agreements
  • Team-player mindset and willingness to collaborate
  • Solid organization and reporting skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office and learn new programs
